We were able to go to school full time this semester. It was really exciting because due to Covid, there were many schools only doing online. So a huge relief for us and our kids. We fell like the kids learn better from their teachers and seeing other kids doing the same thing....then us parents trying to teach them....We were so grateful.
One of the theaters were reopened and were showing old movies. We happened on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and the kid LOVED it!! I was honestly going to read with the kids and as they finished the books we would watch the movie. But who can say NO to big screen?? Not Joe and I! We were like kids again watching the movies too. And so Joseph wanted to be Harry Potter and Addie wanted to be Hermoine for Halloween.
I saw these houses for sale and had to get the kids one each. Haunted house any one??
We couldn't figure out how to get conference on our "Smart" TV (apparently users need to be smart too) so we watched it from our laptop. The kids colored from the things the primary prepared for them.
We went to the Lindon Farm's for our annual pumpkin patch and fun. We even paid for the extra events....and the kids jumped on this trampoline and didn't really enjoy it....which blew our minds because that's what they did all spring at their friend Teresa's house when school was closed. And so we bought one for our yard, never got to put it up, and now they weren't enjoying this. Too funny!!
This ride swings all the way around. We got Addie seat belted in....just to be turned away because they couldn't go small enough. Maybe next year kiddo!!
Joseph did flag football this fall and seemed to really enjoy it. He started to catch on the the concept I think. He really enjoyed playing with his Kindergarten and First Grade friends. It will be fun to see if he continues to enjoy playing football.
Joseph loves legos...
The kids love to make their own peanut butter and jam/honey sandwiches....which we love because now they will either do that or cereal in the morning and we can sleep in. Win Win!
