Disney World Day 4: The Animal Kingdom

The Animal Kingdom was pretty neat. We really like the trees and plants, it was hard to tell what was real, and what  was fake. Lines were long, and it was so hard to tell where the lines ended....but it was pretty neat. My favorite ride was the Flight of Passage from Pandora. Seriously, how they simulated how it felt to fly on the back of a Banshee, the air blowing through your hair, the water mist along the ocean and waterfalls...you could even smell earth and animals. It was AWESOME!! The Na'vi (natives to the Pandora yell"Sivako!!" meaning take courage. We probably did it 3 times the first visit. Which is crazy when you consider it was about 50 mins wait each time.

We also did the Pandora River ride, and enjoyed seeing the various plant life, insects, animals, Na'vi (natives of Pandora). So magical!

While we waited in the lines, we enjoyed the occasional river boat parades with the Disney characters:

And I just love the flowers...

This was the Tree of Life. If you looked closely, in the bark was various animals carved in It was pretty cool. We heard that at night it is gorgeous and lit up. But the park closed too early.

There was a baby gorilla, so cute!

And we got rained out!! It was so frustrating because we kept waiting for it to lighten up. And then there was rushing streams of water because it was coming down so hard. Our shoes were wet. We were worried we would get blisters and the rest of our trip we would be miserable. So we called it an early day.

Our rental was a Jeep Wrangler. It was so tall! Not our favorite to be honest. But it was kind of fun to try it out.
