Disney World: Day 2 The Magic Kingdom

The beginning of day 2, (technically Day 3 of our vacation because Day 2 we spent at the hotel swimming, looking at outlets, and trying to avoid the Saturday crowds) we saw Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger. It was fun to see them from a distance.

We rode Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride:

Joseph's favorite ride: Pirates of the Caribbean.

Addie holding her soft Ariel Doll in front of the Pirate's ride.

Joe's favorite ride is Splash Mountain. It's pretty fun and all of us liked getting wet. We also enjoy "Song of the South" music and characters. It reminds me of my Grandpa Clyde Neibaur. Also I had decided that we all would choose a Mickey Mouse Hat....whichever we wanted. I found the visor that was at the outlet, so proud to save money and it's cute. Joe didn't find his until a little while later at Wal-mart. For the kids we splerged....the outlet stores didn't have what they wanted, so we bought at the park. Joseph got his pirate ears, and Addie her Ariel ears. So cute and fun!

There was a country bear along the fence:

The castle is one of the most iconic and favorite parts of the Magic Kingdom. I wish we could have gotten a family picture with it in the background. Due to covid you didn't as people to take your picture. You could pay professional people to do it, and we had to keep our masks on and you had to wait your turn....oh well. This is what it was. We didn't want to waste a lot of time because the park closed really early. There were no fast passes due to covid so lines were long. We had to wait for people to clean after every so often....

Again, the kids holding their Buzz toy and Ariel bubble wand (we broke down and let the kids pick a small toy from the actual park. So Addie choose a bubble wand that lights up and shoot bubble while singing songs...Joseph chose a pirates kit: sword, hook hand, compass, telescope, eyepatch).

Towards the end, we decided to split up. Addie wanted to go on her favorite ride, Space Mountain which scared Joseph (he went on it once) and Joseph wanted to do Buzz again. So Addie went with me, Joseph went with Joe and we met up afterwards.

We went on the Winnie the Pooh ride. It was set up the like a story book. It was cute to see all of the detail that goes into these rides, and the part you wait in.

Our men tried their strength at the Sword in the Stone:

At the end of the day, it was fun to see the village start to light up, the sunset, and the castle glow.

This time, I wanted to ride the ferry back to our pick up spot. I'll be honest the kids were not happy. But it was different and fun, or so I thought.
