For my birthday I requested a Zoo season pass. We like going to the zoos wherever we live. I figure it's a fun family activity that gets us out of the house. And it's educational for the kids. We all enjoy seeing the animals. They have been under construction and will be officially opening all sites in July. The butterfly attraction opens up in June, which is one of our favorites.
Also we had to include a picture of the kids' first rainbow that they saw. They've seen others I am sure, but this was the first time they understood it and pointed it out. They were beyond excited so I had to capture it.
We took our friends to the zoo with us: Carter and Brighton Allred along with their mom Sydnee and baby sister Addison. The kids were in heaven to be there with them. However I misunderstood our pass! I was so excited to invite a mom with a couple of kids every time we went without Joe. But apparently that's an extra cost...bummer!! Oh well, we enjoyed this one time having friends come.
