Our ward in Bonifay did a Bethlehem themed Christmas party. It was a lot of fun and the booths ranged from cheese grapes, and unleavened bread, and a dreidel game for the kids.

Addie’s gingerbread house lot falling, so she stacked them up like this for fun instead.

Because we lost everything to the movers, we had to buy all new Christmas ornaments. I’ve wanted a sea theme since I was 16. Well, what better opportunity then now? We found a lot of these pretty ornaments at hobby lobby. I also always wanted a fish net to be the garland.
For New Year’s I wanted to try to make crepes for the first time. Success! The crepe itself may be a little thick…. But they still tasted yummy and looked pretty. Now they’re one of the kids favorite things!
My beautiful girl… look at those eyelashes!
Some games were our gift. We decided to play clue.

Joseph was sick and tired Christmas morning. Poor guy had to get woken up because Addie was anxious to open gifts and had been good enough to let us sleep until 7:00.
Addie was so excited and refused to touch or take down the stockings until Joseph woke up and could see the magic left by Santa. Look at that face!
Grandpa Gary came with us to the church Christmas party. I think he really enjoyed the evening and was impressed by the effort everyone made.
