This was Joey's first Thanksgiving. He LOVED the candied Yams that Grandma made with the help of Jenna. He also enjoyed the mashed potatoes and gravy, small pieces of turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. Yum yum!! He really had a feast. And enjoyed so much love and attention by loved ones.
This was Addie's second Thanksgiving, but first real experience in the snow. I layered her up pretty good. She wore a hat Great Grandma Sarah Hebdon had made. We ventured out, only for her to get clobbered by Tessa, Kevin's dog. Poor little girl got wet and snow in her face. I took her to the backyard where the dog wasn't running around so Addie could play in the snow. She was intrigued and played a little bit. Next year I think she will be ready. She also went sledding down a small hill twice with her cousin Ben. He said she giggled even though the snow sprayed her face. Fun times!
Her and her cousin Jenna helping with the Thanksgiving preparations.
This was just before church. Sometimes she sits long enough in my lap for me to play with her hair. I can't help but get excited when these times happen....can't wait to do more!
