Firestation Day with Preschool

I was able to go with the kids to their preschool field trip to the Firestation in Nampa. And I will be honest! I was thinking it might be boring, but they blew me away! The men were so interactive and made it very interesting. Addie really has blossomed and grown out of her shell. She participated and didn't hold back at all. It was fun to watch her get in there and hold the fire hose. So fun!!

Now JoJo, it must be a stage....because he was the one that held back and was reserved this time. But that's ok. He will figure things out and be involved again soon. He would only go up in the fire truck if I helped him up and went through with him. But I was just fine with that! It was very interesting. I also went up the "ladder" that went up 100 ft. with their Teacher Miss Marianne and another girl. It was a blast! I will be honest. In the past I always held back and missed out because I was so concerned about my weight and how much room I took up. I still have a ways to go, but loosing this weight had really helped me to do the things that I have always wanted to do. It is very liberating!

Addie says that she wants to be a fireman when she grows up! And JoJo wants to be a police officer.

Swimming Lessons and St. Patrick's Day

March 14th: I was going to pick Addie up from Preschool and drop JoJo off....I look at the back of my van to see this guy! Just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!

JoJo and Addie have been doing Swimming lesson this winter. They have really enjoyed it and have improved so much. JoJo has enjoyed just being in the water for awhile. He even blows bubbles and has tried to keep his head in the water. And Addie has been able to put her face in the water for a few seconds and try to swim. She has become brave and jumped in the water all by herself. She glows!

We went to see Captain Marvel in the theater with the kids. We absolutely loved it! Addie wants to be Captain Marvel A.K.A. Carol Danvers when she grows up.

We loved the part when the cat turns out to be a Flerkan...another alien. Looked just like our cat Parker.

We found some rocks and painted them to hide at the movie theater. The kids LOVED painting them. It's something that we have come across on our walks. So we wanted to add tot he joy for others.

St. Patricks Day! The luck of the Irish be with this lass and laddy! They were so excited about capturing a leprechaun. They have been learning about them in preschool. So we left our trap....and came back empty handed. But Liam the Leprechaun left us some gold, quarters, bubbles, treats, and rainbow pens. Yes, they are lucky! These are also some crafts they have done in preschool, so cute!

JoJo said to me "Addie can have my orange one (bubbles) because hers is broken. And I love her...." Melt my heart! They love eachother.

JoJo's first real drawing. I believe it's his hand and some rainbows. So cute.

Addie lost her second toother March 29th. She was so ecited to have her daddy see it (he missed the last one because he worked and then she lost it down the drain...) But I'm going to take the credit for pulling both teeth! They take weeks to come out.

March 22nd, I cute my hair. I am planning on donating it to children with hairloss. It was feeling thin and I needed the change.

My little artists: Addie drew Rapunzel with her "long crazy hair"

And JoJo is starting to draw people. I refer to them as potato people because they just have a big head, and the stick arms and legs. I love when they start to draw things they see. I remember when Addie drew these potato people. Love my kiddos.

April 3rd: I woke up to this cute scene: "Mom! We're having a picnic!"

April 3rd Addie learned how to ride a big bike all by herself with no training wheels!! She has been on a balance bike since Christmas of 2017. We bought her a bike with training wheels to allow her to adjust to pedals. Then 2 days later we took them off and BAM! She got it, over the bumps and everything. She is amazing to me. And JoJo is still doing well on his balance bike. His confidence with it has grown a lot this year as he matures.

I had a bad day and was in a bad mood....bless these kiddos! I told them to give mommy a break....that she is tired and having a bad day. And they brought these to me. So sweet!
