Summer 2020

Summer has to be our favorite time of year! We love swimming...and swimming....and sprinklers with more water games....we love to play in the water! We went to Eagle Island for the first time and loved it.

We got a brand new baby kitty! Her name is Twinkle, named by Joseph.

Soon after we got a puppy named Allie, named by Addie.

She let Addie carry her around wherever she wanted. She was a good puppy.

We tried to go camping in Twin Falls Area, Nat Su Pah hot pools, but long annoying story short, we decided to get a hotel instead. Allie did a great job being in her kennel and staying quiet...we were so nervous! We explored the Shoshone falls at Twin Falls

The kids LOVED hiking around the trails there and couldn't get enough.

Joseph pretty proud of his artwork: Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee from the Transformers.

Joseph playing cowboy.

Parker and Twinkle hit it off pretty well. We were so excited that they got along so well.

Joe wanted an Ice Cream Cake for his birthday....

We had some of the prettiest sunsets this summer. No filter! And it still didn't quite catch the depths of color. So pretty!!

Pictures my Aunt Tarryn posted of Grandma and Grandpa Neibaurs house....Picturesque! Truly how I remember it.

For our 10th anniversary my parents watched the kids while Joe and I went to Utah. We didn't have a whole lot planned due to things being shut down for Covid. But we stayed in Layton area. We drove around Kaysville and I had to take a picture of this cute patriotic home.

We stopped by our favorite restaurant there....heck favorite Asian food EVER! Thai Rod Dee! I always get the cashew chicken with noodles, and Joe always gets the Pad Thai.

We went tubing down the Weber River by Hennifer Utah and had a blast!! It was a little intense, but so worth it! We also went to Leatherby's for ice cream....absolutely the best! We get marshmallow caramel sundae....yum!!

Celebrating the 4th was not how we expected to spend it. We have heard about Melba's festivities since we moved to Idaho, but never made it. So sadly, due to Covid, things were canceled. So we still tried to enjoy it as much as possible. I bought flower...

We decorated the kids bikes and we had a small local parade....

We had water balloon fights! And it was a blast!

We went to Bucks, who always has a concert, fireworks, food, and blow up. They even had a sand pit for the kids to enjoy.

We have been having Home Church since Covid broke out. It's been a challenge for sure. But all in all I think we enjoyed eachother's testimonies and tried to make sure it was a still a special and sacred day. Sacred was hard, but we tried. It was neat to still be able to take the sacrament.

We went to Starlight Theater. even the kids loved it!! Joe and I love theater and were glad they could appreciate it. We went to Beauty and the Beast. And then a few weeks later we went to Scarlet Pimpernel. The kids got to have a treat and pop as well....and we shared popcorn.

Addie's first dance recital! This girl has blossomed ALOT! She doesn't need to be prodded to go on stage. She has fallen and she gets right up and keeps going. Last year, she would have been embarrassed and had a tantrum. It's so fun to see her confidence grow and not be held back any more. So proud!!

My dahlias! I loved them! I had yellow and red. This my first year planting them, and now they are one of my favs. SO much fun!

Our tomatoe plants still early in the season! They were huge and took over....next year I won't have 5....LOL!

A praying Mantis...if you look closely you can see him.
