Summer fun 2019: Nampa

Summer time is always fun! So many things to do, no school, and plenty of family activities. One of them was every Friday movie at the park.

We were beyond exited to watch Captain Marvel.

For Joe's birthday, I really wanted to do something fun. So I stayed up all night and made him this Marvel Bunting...how cool is that?

Then the kids helped me make and decorate a Hulk Smash cake.

We also gave him a super hero shirt that lists all of the qualities he has like the other super heros.

The Barnum Brother's circus came to town!! It was the kid's first circus. And it was awesome. We splurged and let Addie ride an elephant, JoJo didn't want to.

Then she got her face painted, again, JoJo was in a funky mood....

But he was very happy with this cotton candy.

Possibly JoJo's favorite thing was the Bumble Bee transformer...

And they gave us all clown noses while we waited for the show to start.

 

Zoo Boise Fun

For my birthday I requested a Zoo season pass. We like going to the zoos wherever we live. I figure it's a fun family activity that gets us out of the house. And it's educational for the kids. We all enjoy seeing the animals. They have been under construction and will be officially opening all sites in July. The butterfly attraction opens up in June, which is one of our favorites.

Also we had to include a picture of the kids' first rainbow that they saw. They've seen others I am sure, but this was the first time they understood it and pointed it out. They were beyond excited so I had to capture it.

We took our friends to the zoo with us: Carter and Brighton Allred along with their mom Sydnee and baby sister Addison. The kids were in heaven to be there with them. However I misunderstood our pass! I was so excited to invite a mom with a couple of kids every time we went without Joe. But apparently that's an extra cost...bummer!! Oh well, we enjoyed this one time having friends come.
