Interesting Facts

I thought that this would be a fun thing to place here. I stole the idea from my friend Ashley. So, a few interesting facts about me:

1. What time did you get up this morning? 9:00 am to go to the salon
2. Diamonds or pearls? Pearls, they are just so soft and subtle.
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? August Rush, amazing message and music. But you have to let go of things really happening, and just let it flow.
4. What is your favorite TV show(s)? I don't have time for TV! But we use to watch, on slow nights, at 3:00 am Heros at the hospital's computer! Shhh, don't tell!
5. What did you have for breakfast this morning? I didn't! That is so bad....
6. What is your favorite movie? Scarlet Pimpernel, I grew up on it, and will die on it!
7. What is your favorite cuisine?Italian, and then Mexican
8. What foods do you dislike? Shoushi (sp?)
9. Favorite chips? Veggie flavored wheat thins baked chips
10. What is your favorite CD at the moment? Norah Jones
11. What kind of car do you drive? White Chevy Cavalier 2000 that me and my dad picked out together in Jan. of 2000. It was so much fun! I call her "Mon Cherie" because she has taken such good care of me.
12. What is your favorite sandwich? Anything with avacodos, especially turkey, tomato and lettuce on wheat bread.
13. What characteristics do you despise? People who purposely tear someone down to build themselves up.
14. What are your favorite clothes? I love to wear my worn jeans, brown sweater, silky scarf, tan courdaroy jacket, and brown mary janes with a heel with a bow instead of a buckle....I feel so cute in it!
15. If you could go anywhere in the world on Vacation where would it be? The list is never ending! But I would have to pick Europe. And if I had to pick where, France, and then if I had to limit it again, Paris. Vive la bella!
16. Favorite brand of clothing? I am so cheap...so I always go to Old Navy. But if money wasn't the issue, Lane Bryant.
17. Where would you want to retire? Coast of Oregon
18. Favorite time of day? Anytime that I have to relax. It doesn't come that often, but I love to read, hang out with friends, sleep, or watch a movie.
19. What is your favorite sport to watch? I use to watch the Jazz with my dad and tease him by supporting the Spurs and Sonics....It was a lot of fun, but I haven't been up on things anymore.
20. Pepsi or Coke? Dr. Pepper please.
21. Are you a morning person or a night person? I love the night! When I was younger and living at home, I would stay up so late cleaning my room or reading a book. It drove my parents crazy! 22. Pedicure or manicure? Pedicure! I love to get my feet rubbed.
23. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share? I have a job, I like where I work, and life is great!
24. What did you want to be when you were little? An Egyptologist, a nurse, a dancer, a dentist and then when I became older and saw Top Gun, and I knew I was destined for the skies!
25. What is your best childhood memory? Sledding with my mom when it was just us at home. She even went over the drifts/jumps and caught air with me! Going Crazy with my dad (he had a special name for each place he had to work on the water). Playing army with my brother Kevin when my dad was digging trenches all over the ranch. Riding bikes with my sister Stephanie to the Chesterfield Reservoir to sunbath and swim.
26. Piercing? Just one in each ear.
27. Ever been to Africa? No. But I visit there on africam.com! You should try it!
28. Ever been toilet papering? NO! I always wanted to but was to scared of getting into trouble! Tells you how much of a wimp I am.
29. Favorite day of the week? Tuesdays! I come home from work at the hospital at 7:00 am and then sleep and have the rest of the day to do whatever I want!
30. Favorite restaurant? Olive Garden.
31. Favorite Flower? Magnolias and Lilies
32. Favorite ice cream? Alaskan Classics Caribou Caramel
33. Favorite fast food restaurant? Bajios
34. How many times did you fail your drivers test? None. Thanks goodness!
35. What is your favorite book? Any of Jane Austin's. They are so much fun, and cute. They always make me laugh! But my favorite of hers would be Mansfield Park. But not the movie! They throw in so much trash!!
36. In which stores would you choose to max out your credit card? I am too worried about being in debt that I have never used a credit card. But don't you worry! My credit score is in the mid 700's.
37. Bedtime? What is that!? I never have a set schedule due to my jobs. When I have a few hours in a row, that very well could be my bedtime!
38. Favorite song? Time to Say Goodbye with Andre Bouchelli and Sarah Brightman, especially watching the Ballagio water show in Las Vegas.
39.Favorite Hymn? I Know that My Redeemer Lives, and then Lead Kindly Light
40. What is your favorite color? Cranberry red, sage green, and navy

Situations in life!

I am currently living in Provo, UT. I thought that I would never end up here in "Happy Valley" but here I am. I am renting from a friend from Cosmo School, Kristen Grotegutt. Actually I rent from her mom, and we all live together with 5 people, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. They are so awesome to let me live there. I am truly blessed. Hopefully in a year I will be able to buy a townhome.....Wishful thinking!

New Beginnings

It is 1:43 am and I am trying to figure out this blog adventure. A lot of my friends have it, and I absolutely love them. So therefore I thought I might venture out and try one myself. However pathetic it may look, I am having fun. Hopefully I will be able to get a few pictures of me and my family. That will be my goal!!
